Interest surveys, gaining practical experience in a field, resume writing assistance, job search tools, and more can be found at this U.S. Department of Labor site.

Exploring Opportunities

Job shadows and internships offer students the opportunity to get a close up look at a career of interest. Springville Secondary partners with Workplace Learning Connection to provide these and other career education opportunities to students.

Job Corps is an education and training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor. It provides free support to low-income individuals of at least 16 years of age.

Exploring Apprenticeships

Exploring National Service

Numerous service opportunities exist under the Corporation for National and Community Service umbrella. CNCS provides training and support for young people interested in serving the community or country.
