Foundation Scholarship Application

The Springville Community School District Foundation has been able to grant a $500 college scholarship to one or two graduating seniors since 2003. Past recipients include:

Funded Projects

Past projects include:

  • Contributed towards the new scoreboard
  • Bought educational materials and computer software for the business department
  • Assisted in financing an Iowa Arts Council jazz artist-in-resident grant
  • Bought books for the secondary library
  • Bought books for a guided reading programs for the elementary
  • Bought African Drums and music stands for the fine arts department
  • Contributed to the new automation system for the school libraries
  • Donated for students to participate in a school leadership program

We instill a lifelong love of learning and promote the achievement of the individual within a positive learning climate. At Springville expectations are cooperatively set by school personnel, students, families, and the community.
